It doesn't sound like him at all. Quite a few YouTube clips claim to be recordings of his voice though their veracity is very questionable. But then, this is nothing new. People have been doing this for decades and continue to put their spin on him.
Unfortunately a large online repository dedicated to his thoughts seems to be down: http://www.mbsadr.com/

You may well be right - my suspicion arises primarily from the quality of the recording and not the content as such.
